Meet the Artist

My name is Tessa, born and raised in the small town of La Tuque, Quebec, in the beautiful region of La Mauricie. A big part of me is in Alert Bay, in Beautiful British Columbia, where my mother is from, and all my family is, on my mother's side. My mother's native heritage shows through me and my siblings, the proud People of the 'Namgis First Nation. The 'Namgis are a particularly creative people, without a doubt, where I am inspired in my creativity. Creativity is a big part of me, which you will see in the pages to come.

Currently, I am a resident of the town of Marieville, Quebec, in the region of La Montéregie, on the south shore of Montréal. I worked as a welder for ten years, until I decided to take on the full time job of being a stay at home mother, to raise my two beautiful children, who are also a great inspiration!
